When the Going Gets Tough

The results are in.  All is different.  Things will change.  Those with any sense left will look to the mysteries, read tea leaves, throw the bones, sue J. K. Rowling for help.  As the good Doctor (God Bless His Soul) almost used to say, "When the going gets tough, the weird turn pro."  He was, of course, a seer, one of America's best, a Tiresias and Madame Sosostris combined.  He knew that try as you may, you can never be weirder than America for we have The Dream.  And that is what lies behind it all--The Dream.  It is what we believe in.  It is what we have.

You'd better start listening.  You'd better start tonight.  Get your copies of "Carnivale" before they are sold out.  It is a riddle, but it will serve to guide you.  Listen to the voices.  It is difficult, but you will be called upon to choose.
