Arslan Ahmedov
Surfing through photo sites on the web a few days ago, I came across a blog by Arslan Ahmedov. It was mostly the photo impressionist images that caught my attention. Simple images made in what is now a laborious way. I'm not certain what process he is using, but it is some form of printmaking, I'm guessing, much like a new polymer photo printing technique I am bound to learn soon. Anyway, I fell for the images and wrote Ars one of my "Fan's Notes." A few days later he wrote back and said it would be fine for me to show a few of his photos and to link to his site. So here they are. Go to his blog for awhile and browse around. It will put you in a nice mood, I think.

Such sensitive portrays, I love it, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeletethey are indeed beautiful...but the processes...too complicated?
ReplyDeleteI heard from the artist yesterday, and the process is not what I thought. Much simpler. I will tell it in another post sometime. Still, yes, they are easy to look at. They make me feel as if I'm in a dream.
