Discordia
I just wrote a long piece about my waking early, being terribly tired. . . . It sounded too much like the reward for the wages of sin. Perhaps that is why it happens to the aging. It takes a while to build up that sort of account. I wonder how much the Dali Lama sleeps? I guess we can probably Google that. Of course, he is in that sleep that is no sleep, a wakefulness that is awareness. My waking and slumbering hours are spent with the mere shadows of such lofty consciousness. Right? Blah! But there is something to ridding your life of things, eating simply and drinking only warm herbal tea. And, if you are the Dali Lama, having a fetish for Hollywood and believing Richard Gere is the chosen one.
No wonder I can't sleep. I'm a terrible man.

ReplyDeleteThe Dolly Lama is a Holywood man.
ReplyDeleteR, Worse than you know, certainly. But poor.
ReplyDeleteQ, You are confusing the Dali Lama with Dolly Llama.
