I developed three rolls of b&w film this weekend. One I put on the reel poorly and so had useless negatives. The second one went on right and came out blank. The third had weak ghost images that were too thin to use. My last two rolls of color film did not turn out, either. I'd forgotten how many images were lost in the old analog world. Much of it was left to the imagination. Even Kodak used drawings to advertise its film. There is much to say about this Kodak ad. Discuss amongst yourselves.
I won't write anything about the season finale of "Mad Men" today. I think that this article (link) is good enough. Besides, my critiques are getting quoted too much on other blogs where the veracity of my statements is being questioned. Why? Do I seem like a self-aggrandizer? O.K., O.K. But I don't make this stuff up. As a matter of fact, I leave a lot out even though it is true because it just becomes too much. I know if I tell certain things, even you, my friends, will call me a liar.
I am short of time today, so I'll just leave you with this. Oh. . . and I have an idea that may bloom soon. Selavy Radio. I'll try to post some on YouTube soon. I've been practicing a bit. We'll see. For now, just keep on the sunny side. It will brighten up your day.

ReplyDeleteWow, they didn't just quote you, they practically reprinted your entire post!
Cafe Selavy radio sounds very cool.
WCSL...:)
ReplyDeleteWhat's the "L" in WCSL? I was thinking WCSR. "R" for radio. What?
