All The Sharp Edges

The wrecking/cleaning crew comes today after a holiday break which means I have much to do before they arrive.  There are secrets they needn't know.  Aunt Thelma has gone missing.  I thought that she loved me and would keep in touch, but that is the way of Aunt Thelmas, isn't it.  I live too much in the moment.  Aunt Thelmas live too much in all moments.  They are all exciting when you are Aunt Thelma, I presume.

I live in a state that is not likely to legalize marijuana any time soon.  Everything is illegal here but for corruption and sleazy business practices, oppression and repression.  To give you some idea, there is a state law that allows you to turn right at a red light after a complete stop.  In my town, almost ever light has a "No Turn On Red" sign attached to it.  Schizophrenia?  Travon Martin is just the tip of this iceberg.

I must go prepare for the eventualities of this gray, oppressive morning.  There is still the boutique yogurt and a giant navel orange to look forward to.  Beyond that. . . the precipice.  Fortunately, I will be experiencing it all with a clear head.  There will be no rounding off of the sharp edges.  Clean and sober, I will get to experience them all fully as I look forward to another hot cup of herbal tea.

The corporation recommends sobriety, by the way.  I think you can win a pin or a medal for it.
